The FAFSA is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. It is used by state and federal agencies to assess financial need and eligibility for funding including the federal Pell grant and the Access Missouri program. Many scholarship and interest-free loan providers use it as well.
Completing the FAFSA is an important fist step for students seeking financial aid for college. Every student should complete it!
The deadline in Missouri for FAFSA completion is April 1, 2014!
Getting started? Here's a list of resources for help:
The Federal Student Aid site provides overview info and links to the online application. Completing the FAFSA is free - if a website says you need to send money, you are in the wrong place! FAFSA.gov is the place to start.
