The National College Access Network recently held its annual conference in Nashville, Tennessee and presented its four annual awards for excellence. The big winner? Students in St. Louis! Two of the four awards were presented to St. Louis leaders in postsecondary access and degree completion.

The 2013 College Access Organization Award of Excellence was presented to College Bound for its commitment to college access and success for all students, particularly those underrepresented in postsecondary education.

The 2013 Executive Leadership Award of Excellence was presented to Faith Sandler, Executive Director of The Scholarship Foundation of St. Louis, recognizing her dedication and hard work in leading an organization committed to college access and success.

Lisa Orden Zarin, Founder and CEO of College Bound, and Faith Sandler were selected as recipients from over 1,000 eligible organizations and individuals. They are both members of the St. Louis Graduates Steering Committee.

Congratulations to College Bound and The Scholarship Foundation of St. Louis!
